I don't really use the term geek to describe myself, but then I don't think most people do. My name is Sameer, and I'm currently enrolled at PSU (Penn State University) as an English/Film and Video major with an Arabic minor.

Beard growing, hookah, writing and movies. I fell in love with computers around the age of 7 and used a PC until I became enlightened 11 years later and got a Mac.
Currently watching the anime Death Note, Texhnolyze, and Bleach while waiting for Naruto fillers to end. Reading Berserk and Death Note manga.

And I have an unhealthy obsession with the Goddess that is Monica Bellucci.

Books
I don't read too much, but I'm loving Shakespeare's stuff, with Merchant of Venice being my favorite. In the coming months, I'm going to attempt to read the colossus that is Gravity Rainbow. Other than that, God Delusion by Richard Dawkin and nearly everything by Chuck Palahniuk.

Movies
Fight Club, Sin City, Malena, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Donnie Darko, A Clockwork Orange, Little Miss Sunshine, and too many others.

Music
Tool, The Mars Volta, Dethklok, Killswitch Engage, Adagio, Mudvayne, At the Drive-In, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, System of a Down and a lot of other stuffs. Basically, anything that I can enjoy, I'll listen to.

TV
[adult swim]. With special attention paid to Metalocalypse, Futurama, Venture Bros., and Moral Orel.

Computer
1.33 GHz G4 12" iBook with 1.5 GB DDR SDRam. Her name is Monica.

Video Games
PS2 slim, with God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Kingdom Hearts. Looking to get Okami, ICO, and Kingdom Hearts 2. I use my PS2 for RPGs and the good games that float to the top.
XBox, with Halo, Halo 2, Knights of the Old Republic, and Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Hardly used anymore. =\
Wii, with Wii Sports and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Waiting for Fire Emblem, Mario Galaxy, Smash Brothers: Brawl, and Sadness.
Looking to own a Nintendo DS in the coming months and devote myself to Nintendo Fanboyism.
