Last night there was a horrific accident outside my house. literally directly outside my front door. A motor bike rider did not stop at an intersection and was hit side on by an oncoming car. his helmet was not strapped on and was thrown off by the impact. He was dragged 30 meters up the road with the bike on top of him. Bystanders had to drag the still running bike off him, put a blanket over him and comfort him until the ambulance arrived. Aging.

There's a new disease floating around. It's oh, two million years old or so. It manifests almost instantly, over the course century or so at the outside, and it's symptoms include shriveling and blemishing of the skin, decay of the bones, loss of teeth and hair, weakening of the muscles, often leading to heart failure, infertility and the gradual corruption of the brain's data.
Inevitably, the disease culminates in multiple acute organ failures, and death.

Well, it's that time of the year and I'm sure that I'm not the only one here facing finals or other sorts of exams. As usual, it's less than a week before my first exam and I've woken up at the crack of dawn, realising "oh bugger, still not done any revision".
